課程概述 Course Description

完成本課程後,學生將能夠: 1.分析不同地區的解剖學,運動學,生物力學和人工學,並將這些發現與骨科評估和治療聯繫起來。 2.分析和解釋評估數據並識別可能導致某些體徵和症狀的病變。 3.解釋評估結果並將其與常見的骨科問題聯繫起來。 4.論證運動計劃的基本原理和治療效果 5.手動治療,並設定切合實際的可測量物理治療目標和設定可達成就的時間長度。 6.解釋生物,心理,認知,社會和文化因素對遵守情況和目標實現的影響,並採取適當行動以確保取得成功。 7.通過詢問和檢查患者確定是否存在任何特定運動或手動治療的禁忌症。 8.有效地向接受治療的患者和參與管理患者的其他醫療保健提供者解釋必要的信息。 9.設計,實施和修改(必要時)骨科物理治療計劃。 10.綜合在課堂上討論和實踐的患者管理概念,並提出對當前過程的修改。 11.評估骨科評估,治療及其有效性的科學證據。
Upon completion of this course, the students will be able to: 1. Analyze anatomy, kinesiology, biomechanics and arthrology of the varying regions and relate those findings to orthopedic evaluation and treatment. 2. Analyze and interpret evaluative data and identify possible lesions causing certain signs and symptoms. 3. Interpret evaluation findings and relate them to common orthopedic problems. 4. Defend the rationale and therapeutic effects of an exercise program 5. m or manual treatment and set realistic measurable physical therapy goals and a length of time for their achievement. 6. Interpret the influence of biological, psychological, cognitive, social and cultural factors on compliance and the achievement of the goals and take appropriate actions to assure a successful outcome. 7. Determine, by questioning and examination of the patient, the presence of any contraindications to specific exercises or manual treatments. 8. Effectively explain the necessary information to the patient receiving the treatment and to other health care providers involved in managing the patient. 9. Design, implement, and modify (as necessary) an orthopedic treatment program. 10. Synthesize the patient management concepts discussed and practiced in class and propose modifications to the current process. 11. Appraise the scientific evidence for orthopedic evaluation, treatment and its effectiveness.
