課程概述 Course Description

1.Introduce motor unit action potential and characteristics of myosignals 2.Introduce instrumentation and basic signal processing techniques for EMG 3.Introduce applications of EMG to the field of neuromuscular control 4.Understand movement pathophysiology in the context of EMG
This course is to familiarize PT graduate students who are interested in movement science with instrumentation and basic signal processing of surface electromyography. Pathological patterns of surface electromyography are introduced for recognizing atypical neuromuscular control in patients with neurological disorders, such as stroke, spinal cord injury, and Parkinsonism.
