課程概述 Course Description

衛星軌道主要是使用一個追蹤系統進行求定,如全球衛星導航系統(GNSS)和衛星雷射測距系統(SLR)。對於一個導航衛星而言,衛星軌道主要是訊號距離量測的基準,這些觀測量是被定位,導航及授時所應用。至於對低軌衛星而言,衛星軌道主要是被當成一個感測器進行大規模的地球動力與地球物理訊號的偵測,如地球質量的運輸狀態,海水面上升,冰川融化等。衛星軌道求定基本上是由三個主要的成分構成:1) 完整的力學模式,2)追蹤系統資料的獲取,3)高精準時頻振盪器以及4)精準的參考坐標和坐標系統。 近期,低軌衛星星系被使用來進行商業目的,例如衛星通訊。國際公司SpaceX發射一個星鏈(Starlink)計畫,主要是進行低軌衛星通訊的應用。因此,衛星軌道測定的相關技術在衛星太空產業變得相當的重要。
Satellite orbit is mainly determined using effective tracking systems, such as the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), Satellite Laser Ranging (SLR) and Doppler Orbitography and Radiopositioning Integrated by Satellite (DORIS). For a navigation satellite, the orbit is a reference datum for its ranging measurement, used for positioning, navigation, and timing applications. As to low earth orbit (LEO) satellites for earth observation, the orbital information serves as a probe for detecting large-scale geodynamic and geophysical signals, e.g., observing mass transport, sea level rise, glaciology, etc. Satellite orbit determination essentially consists of 1) detailed force models, 2) availability of ground-based tracking systems, 3) high-precise time and frequency standard, and 4) high-accurate station coordinates in connection to a well-defined reference frame. Recently, micro-satellite constellations are targeted for a commercial purpose, e.g., communication service. A well-known project, Starlink, from SpaceX company is devoted for the communication purpose. Therefore, the satellite orbit determination skill is crucial for the satellite space industry.
