課程概述 Course Description

隨著科技之進步及經驗之累積,結構耐震設計規範不斷推陳出新,以現行規範之角度,老舊建築及橋梁未必符合耐震之需求。老舊結構數量龐大,不可能也不必要一一拆除重建,經由耐震補強之手段,或可提升其耐震能力,以符現行規範之要求。透過結構耐震能力之初步評估及詳細評估,篩選出耐震不足之結構,因應結構之系統及使用者之需求,採用合適之補強工法 (如擴柱、翼牆、剪力牆、開口剪力牆、複合柱、鋼斜撐等),補強設計完成後,再作耐震評估,以確認補強之效益。除了傳統工法外,尚可採用隔震或消能補強,以因應不同之需要。本課程旨在講授結構耐震評估與補強之理論與實務,讓修課同學具備實作之能力,以投入此一領域,共同為地震災害之減緩而努力。
As we learned from earthquakes, seismic design codes of structures keep updating. According to the current design codes, seismic performance of existing structures may not be qualified. It is impossible and impractical to demolish and reconstruct all existing structures. Seismic retrofit is an alternative measure to upgrade the seismic performance of existing structures to the level of current codes. Screened out by means of seismic evaluation, structures with seismic deficiency can be upgraded through seismic retrofit. Methods of seismic retrofit include reinforced concrete jacketing of columns, adding wind walls, adding shear walls, adding shear walls with openings, adding composite columns and adding steel braces. After retrofit design, the retrofitted structure is evaluated again to confirm the upgraded performance. In addition to conventional methods, innovative methods such as base isolation and energy dissipation are also introduced. After taking this course, students can master the skills of seismic evaluation and retrofit of structure in order to reduce earthquake disasters.
