課程概述 Course Description

「統計與大數據分析」為目前管理科學的重要基礎,例如應用統計方法將資料整合研判,形成有效的管理決策。本課程目的在為工程背景進入管理領域的同學提供必要的分析觀念,課程將涵蓋(i)機率、(ii)統計推論、(iii)迴歸分析,以及(iv)機器學習,課程將兼顧大數據分析方法的應用,期使工程背景者也能了解與應用數據分析方法和原理於工程管理的領域。
"Statistics and Big data Analysis" is an important basis for scientific management, such as the application of statistical methods to analyzing data integration, and to form an effective management decision. The purpose of this course is for the engineering background students who entering the field of management to provide the necessary statistical concepts. The courses will cover (i) probability, (ii) statistical inference, (iii) regression analysis, and (iv) machine learning. We expect that engineering background students will understand the theory and application of data analysis methods in the areas of engineering management.
