課程概述 Course Description
本課程旨在針對統計系大學部學生循序漸進介紹資料科學的導論，教導及訓練大學部同學具備基本的程式設計能力，並系統性地教授資料科學的核心基本技術與原理。本課程為一學年之規劃，上學期（一）以Python程式語言為基礎，傳授程式設計之基礎，訓練學生以系統性、邏輯化之思維來分析問題，並透過Python實作出基本解法，藉此具備程式化運算、資料儲存與處理之能力；下學期（二）基於所學Python，將更著重在資料導向程式設計，其課程重點有三：(1)教會學生運用各種資料分析的重要套件、提高程式設計開發之效率，並介紹互動式與視覺化資料程式設計平台之操作，以及資料庫系統的基本概念；(2)傳授程式設計上最常見的資料結構與演算法，讓學生具備為真實問題設計演算法並分析複雜度的能力；(3)教授資料分析實務，透過實際資料分析之應用實例，讓學生學會並具備使用套件來進行資料分類與預測的能力。This course aims to introduce the introduction to data science step by step for undergraduate students of the Department of Statistics, teach and train undergraduate students to have basic programming skills, and systematically teach the core basic techniques and principles of data science.
