課程概述 Course Description

普物實驗的目標是利用基本的物理觀念並從實際操作測試及觀察來更深刻理解重要的物理現象,同時也從經典的物理實驗中體驗物理之美。 實驗包括了基礎量測、動力學、波動、熱物理、電磁學、光學以及近代物理。
General Physics Lab is designed for using basic physics concepts and conducting classic experiments to have deeper insights of important physics phenomena and to appreciate the beauty of physics. Experiments include basic measurements, dynamics, waves, thermal dynamics, electromagnetism, optics, and modern physics.

課程學習目標 Course Objectives

  • 驗證物理理論,並能詮釋物理現象。Verify theory and explain physics phenomena.
  • 科學觀察與實驗紀錄之能力。Ability to observe phenomena and to record details.
  • 具有正確的誤差分析能力。Ability to perform error analysis.

  • 培養邏輯推理及創意之能力。Ability to conduct logic reasoning and creativity.

    1準備周 普通物理實驗課程介紹及實驗進行方式(分組、重要事項宣布)。Preparation week: introduction and announcement.
    2實驗數據處理與誤差分析。Data reduction and error analysis.
    3游標尺、螺旋測微器與球徑計。Vernier Caliper, Micrometer Caliper, and Spherometer.
    4重力加速度的測量(Tracker版 )。Measurement of Gravitational Acceleration by Tracker.
    5重力加速度之測量。Measurement of Gravitational Acceleration.
    6複擺。Kater’s Reversible Pendulum.
    7碰撞實驗(氣軌)。Collision Experiments.
    8角加速度、外加力矩及轉動慣量之關係。Angular Acceleration, External Torque, and Moment of Inertia
    9轉動慣量與陀螺進動角速度的測量。The moment of inertial and the precession of gyroscope
    10期中檢討。Midterm.
    11楊氏彈性係數實驗。Young's Modulus
    12梅耳得實驗。Standing Wave, Melde’s Experiment.
    13扭擺實驗。Torsion Pendulum.
    14彈簧縱波的駐波實驗。The standing longitudinal waves on a spring.
    15熱功當量。Mechanical Equivalent of Heat.
    16氣體熱容比測定。Measurement of the Gas Heat Capacity Ratio.
    17期末檢討。Final week.
    18*最終實驗內容以上課時講議為主。Final content will be announced in class.
