課程概述 Course Description本系為提早培育學生儲備基礎科學、應用科學之能力，並進一步讓學生瞭解本系老師之研究範疇，特開授此課程。上課的方式由學生找與自己興趣相符之教授，並與教授討論適合的問題做一探討。每個星期與教授討論研究內容並於期末繳交成果報告。
In order to seek to help students acquaint themselves with different skills and the application of these skills into practical use for better preparation for future challenges, the course provides senior students opportunities to be able to articulate thoughts and ideas, be involved in intensive discussions, and willingness to interact with people, by participating in a research project related to hydraulic and ocean engineering. This course includes team-based independent research as mentioned, advice from instructors and research advisor, as well as in-class time for final presentation by the students, based on their own research.
