課程概述 Course Description

藥物治療日新月異,隨著分子生物學的進展、致病機轉的明朗化,以及藥物的介入性臨床研究的新結果,目前已進行到使用「標靶」(Targeted Therapy)治療。但「標靶」治療只是一個總稱,它目前分成好幾類。本課程著重在「單株抗體」。它針對的目標,不僅是「標的」「細胞表面」的細胞標記,也可為體內「標的」「細胞外」的生長因子,甚至為針對「細胞間的微環境(microenvironment)」之免疫細胞。將來也可針對「微生物的epitope,幫助host 產生其對抗的免疫力。 因此在這課程中,我們將希望以病人實際應用之觀點,講解及討論目前臨床可使用及開發中之「單株抗體」,在體內作用之機轉及應用。讓學生及老師對該類藥物有更深層之認識,並進而提供跨領域合作的平台。
Currently, molecular targeted therapy is under development to treat patients. This course is focused on monoclonal antibody development. The targets for monoclonal antibodies include surface marker on the cellular surface, cellular growth factor, immune cells, and even the epitope of the microorganism. We will focus on the monoclonal antibodies used to treat cancer and immune disease, and we will talk about the detailed mechanism how the monoclonal antibodies work in human from the clinical view point.
