課程概述 Course Description

深度學習(Deep Learning)是機器學習(Machine Learning)中近年來備受矚目的其中一個分支。深度學習根源於類神經網路(Artificial Neural Network)模型,近來深度學習的技術的表現已經應用在各種領域,例如:例如生物影像、醫學影像、人機介面、電腦視覺、語音辨識和機器人控制技術等領域。目前最好的語音辨識和影像辨識系統都是以深度學習技術為基礎來完成。大家可能在很多不同的場合聽過各種用深度學習做出的驚人應用(例如2017年紅遍大街小巷的AlphaGo),這門課將會講解深度學習的基礎知識與運算方法,並帶領各為應用深度學習於各式應用情境上。另外,我們也會帶領同學親自動手撰寫程式完成一些深度學習網路架構。透過親自實作,同學將會對深度學習有更深入且具體的了解。
Fundamentals of deep learning networks: theory and industrial applications--Deep Learning is a branch of Machine Learning that has attracted much attention in recent years. Deep Learning technology, which is rooted in the Artificial Neural Network Model, has been applied in various fields, such as bioimaging, medical imaging, human-machine interface, computer vision, speech recognition and robot control technology. At present, the best speech recognition and image recognition systems are all constructed based on Deep Learning technology. In many different occasions, people may have heard various applications made with Deep Learning such as AlphaGo. This course will introduce the basic knowledge and calculation methods of Deep Learning technology, and guide students to apply this technology in various cases. In addition, students will be taught about programming to complete Deep Learning network structure. Via hands-on practice, students will have a deeper and better understanding of Deep Learning technology.
