課程概述 Course Description
主要探討政治學的重要性和影嚮力,其目的在介紹與政治相關的重要概念和理論,並且試圖將理論與實際政治現象相結合,加以分析說明。本課程內容探析國家和政府的形式與體制,以及其它相關的政治活動如政黨、利益團體,協助學生瞭解政治的本質與意義。What is politics? Contemporary western realists respond to that question from the power perspective, and argue that politics is the struggle, allocation, and exploitation of power, or, as David Easton argues, it is the authoritative allocation of social values. Put it in a very concise way, politics is power in essence. This course starts from conceptualization of politics, probing related issues around the phenomena of power. It will exemplify some cases in real politics, hopefully will lead students taking this course get rid of value orientation, common thinking, and habitual linguistic structure, and to the end turning into abstract analyses of the real world.
