課程概述 Course Description
奠定學生電生理學基礎並熟悉電生理學實驗技術，使學生日後從事電生理相關研究工作可以順利進行。Electrophysiology is the branch of neuroscience that explores the electrical activity of living neurons and investigates the molecular and cellular processes that govern their signaling. Neurons communicate using electrical and chemical signals. Electrophysiology techniques listen in on these signals by measuring electrical activity, allowing scientists to decode intercellular and intracellular messages. These techniques can answer systems-level questions, such as the role of a neuron in a neural circuit or behavior. Alternatively, they can be used to investigate the specific ion channels, membrane potentials, and molecules that give each neuron its physiological characteristics.
