人文素養
學生應具有憐憫、尊重、關懷、及服務環境對健康影響議的素養。
Humanities literacy
Students should show compassion, respect, care, and willingness of providing service to environmental health related issues.
公民素養
學生應有以環境、勞工及一般民眾為主體的理念,具有主動、積極參與社會之精神,並運用相關知識解決問題的能力,並期成為具綠色環保觀念之環境公民。
Citizenship literacy
Students should be environment-, worker-, and general-public-centered; take an active and positive role in social activities; be able to apply knowledge to solve problems; and become a green-environme
社會關懷
學生能對環境生態、永續發展及人與自然社會的互動關聯展現高度的關心和參與。
Social care
Students should show high interest and actively participate in issues regarding ecology, sustainable development, and interactions between human and the nature/society.
國際視野
學生應具備地球村及汙染無國界之國際視野,並將其扎根本土環境議題。
International perspective
Student should have international perspectives of “global village” and “pollution without borders” and put them into context of local environmental issues.

核心能力 Competence

解決環境議題及照顧勞工及一般民眾的能力
身為環境及職業醫學專業人員,解決環境對健康影響議題及照顧勞工和一般民眾為其基本能力。
The ability to solve environmental issues and take care of workers and the general public
Can serve as environmental and occupational medicine professionals, with the ability to solve environmental issues and take care of workers and the general public.
認知與評估的能力
認知與評估自然環境、人造危害物質,社會文化環境對人體健康的可能危害。
Recognition and evaluation skills
Recognize and evaluate the potential health risks from the nature environment, man-made hazardous materials, and social/cultural environments.
理解與控制的能力
理解環境危害因子之致病機轉並運用專業能力控制危害因子。
Reasoning and control skills
Understand the pathogenesis of environmental risk factors and apply professional knowledge and skills to control them.
分析與撰寫的能力
運用流行病學與生物統計學及其它適切之科學方法分析資料並撰寫報告。
Analysis and writing skills
Adopt epidemiology, biostatistics, and other scientific methods to analyze data with the aim of producing compelling reports.
規劃的能力
規劃環境議題、勞工及一般民眾之問題解決及健康促進方案。
Planning skills
Plan health promotion projects and provide realistic solutions to issues regarding the environment, labor force, and the general public.
解決的能力
具備環境病及職業病議題之判斷能力,熟悉以環境醫學相關專業知識解決所面對的議題。
Problem solving Skills
Accurately recognize environmental and occupational related diseases and be familiarized with solving problems using knowledge in environmental medicine.
良好的溝通能力
應具備與勞工及一般民眾溝通之能力,並能將專業的語言轉換成勞工及一般民眾理解的語言之能力。
Effective communication skills
Have the ability to communicate with workers and the general public, and translate professional communications into plain language.
終身學習的態度
具備主動探索環境病及職業病議題、創新與領導、在職進修及終身學習之態度及能力。
Life-long learning attitude
Posses the attitude and ability to actively explore environmental and occupational disease issues, innovate and lead, train on the job, and learn for the life-time.

The chief of this course is to train students to give a professional presentation of a published paper
