課程概述 Course Description


Human-centered design is coined by the definition in ISO9241-210. It is conceptualized to enhance users' subjective well-being in the product/service experience by contextual inquiry, identification of design issues, prototyping, and evaluation through test in the field. These tasks form an iterative design circle, by which both design solutions and scientific knowledges are essential outcomes. In this advanced research course, students should present their ability of independent design, critical thinking, and experimental practices. Reflection on the essential problems and limitations of human-centered philosophy and design practice is required in this one-semester project and discussion.
