課程概述 Course Description

使學生了解如何建立連體(包含固體及流體)之數學模式與如何將此數學模式應用於不同物理問題。
The purpose of this course is to help students understand how to describe the continuum including fluids and solids by mathematical models, and how these models work for different physical problems.

課程學習目標 Course Objectives

  • 包含連體力學中變形及應力定義
  • 材料之力學組成律描述,及力學平衡方程式,邊界條件問題之建立與分析
  • 熟悉連體(包含固體及流體)之數學模式之建立及如何將此數學模式應用於物理問題

    3Kinematics of a continuum: Deformation gradient, Polar Polar decomposition theorem
    4Material description and spatial description of motion
    5Balance laws of mechanics: Conservation of mass, Linear momentum balance, Angular momentum balance
    6Stress: Cauchy’s theorem of stress, Piola-Kirchhoff stress
    7Material objectivity & Material symmetry
    8Constitutive equations of isotropic and anisotropic solids, Neohookean materials
    9Simple problems of linear elasticity and rubber elasticity
    10Elastic inviscid fluid and Newtonian fluids
    11Incompressible fluids, Incompressibility condition, Navier-Stokes equation, Reynolds number and some simple examples
