課程概述 Course Description

平埔族群為台灣歷史發展過程中最重要的元素,不理解平埔族群即無法理解台灣整體從史前到當代的歷史。本課程透過不同研究方向討論平埔族群,其面向包括考古學、民族學、歷史學、地理學等不同方向,期能理解此一台灣整體歷史發展過程中之多元群體,為台灣整體歷史打造新的解釋與面向。
Pingpu people and their culture are the essential elements in the course of Taiwan history. We will not be able to comprehend our history from the prehistoric times to modern times. This course aims to provide multi-perspectives for understanding Pingpu cultures, including archaeology, ethnology, history, and geography. Those understandings would broaden students’ view on Taiwan history.
