課程概述 Course Description

本課程整合過往「資料選讀」、「論文研究計畫進階討論」必修課程,以及「碩士論文寫作」選修課程,課程主要目的為訓練研究生撰寫研究計畫及論文的基礎能力。本課程每周安排不同教師授課,透過課程安排,逐步培養學生提出論文主題、問題意識、理論框架、研究方法、田野背景、計畫時程等撰寫研究計畫,及進階完成碩士論文寫作之能力。
This course integrates three previous courses: Selected Readings of Pre-Field Research, Seminar on Advanced Writing of Research Proposal, and Master's Thesis Writing. The main aim of this course is to provide graduate students with basic trainings on how to write an adequate academic thesis and research proposal. Each week a different faulty member will be taking parts on teaching the class about how to address their thesis topics, building a theory framework, justifying the methodology, describing the background of the fieldwork, and setting up a schedule for the project; more importantly, the essential writing skills needed to complete their master thesis.
