課程概述 Course Description

本課程討論重要國際貿易理論與政策相關議題,包含國際貿易發生的原因、貿易型態、交易條件、貿易利得及其分配、國際貿易對國內生產與消費結構之影響、國際貿易與經濟成長之關係、以及在WTO架構下關稅與非關稅障礙之效果。本課程將特別強調新國際貿易理論及其政策意涵之介紹,尤其是考慮不完全競爭、規模經濟、產業內貿易之貿易理論、策略性貿易政策等。 ★★★★★★【本課程所對應其基本素養之詳述】 研究所『國際貿易理論與政策』課程旨在討論重要國際貿易理論與政策相關議題,透過世界貿易組織 (WTO) 與區域經濟整合等意涵剖析貿易政策及其相關影響等議題,以拓展學生之『國際視野』並探究政策之於各產業之利弊得失,並規劃設計配套措施以降低進口競爭產業之損害。藉由『國際視野』之養成,期盼學生對我國在國際貿易相關政策之改革、擬定與推動上能有更寬廣且深遠的視野,以達『經世濟民』之用。
Main concepts and methods of international trade are illustrated with applications drawn from the real world. ?We will explore the theoretical foundations of international trade: focus on why nations trade, what they trade, patterns of trade, terms of trade, tariff & non-tariff trade barriers under the framework of World Trade Organization, and in what sense international trade is beneficial to trading countries. Also considered will be trade policies and the institutions that determine trade policy, especially in the aspects of imperfect competition, scales of economies, intra-industry trade and strategic trade.
