課程概述 Course Description
設計師與藝術家是否可以為創作而創作？科技之發展是否可以純為發展而發展？於資本與物質主義時代之最、藝術與設計看似只能由新科技的發展而得到新穎性，然而事實是否真為如此？在AI發展到了類人的創造力的同時，人類自身又應當如何看待創造這件事？ 在本課程中，我們將從不同視角反省這些問題，並在設計/創作實務中重新認知「人的創作」之價值，此即「反身性」。在技術決定一切的過度工業化時代，透過設計/藝術實務中反身性之思與做的訓練，學生將重新得到創作者的專業信心、學會勇於深入不同領域、並敞開心胸成為一個「自由」的設計師/藝術家。 課程理論部分分為四大單元：一、研討關於科技時代的設計與藝術創作。二、質性研究方法：質性研究方法係為界定研究範疇、探索未知研究領域時、或是藝術取材時，常用的研究方法。三、設計師/創作者自身的反身性：除了使用者/觀眾有其各自的主體性之外，設計師/創作者亦是。當從是主體感受的研究時，我們不可忘記研究者自身主體性所產生的影響是極為關鍵的。此時主體性研究之對象，已不再是知識的真實性問題，而是深入探求人性之美與善。四、以作品為主體的設計/藝術研究與其社會意義：本單元討論創作本身能成為研究主體的當代思潮，也就是：創作即研究。此類創作/研究強調它在實務中所創造的社會意義。 在這四大單元的理論之外穿插五次的實作研討，學生得在選定的主題下進行小型設計/科藝創作。實作與理論研討課程穿插安排，目的在使學生將實作中所遭遇的問題能在理論知識中尋求啟發，或是在理論知識中找到創作的動機。To be filled
