課程概述 Course Description
本課程主要目的在使學生對於臺灣南島民族社會文化及其當前面對的問題有一綜合性的瞭解，同時銜接臺灣南島民族誌研究與南島民族（the Austronesian-speaking peoples）以及相關人類學理論的討論。另一方面，以幾個臺灣考古研究的案例，探討結合民族誌與考古研究的可能性。課程內容包括：（1）導論、（2）臺灣南島民族社會文化，以及（3）總結。The course offers students a broad understanding of the Austronesian-speaking people in Taiwan, and provides theoretical concepts relevant to archaeological research. In addition to Introduction and Conclusion, the course consists of important readings on Taiwan indigenous peoples’ socio-cultural life and their contemporary situations.
