課程概述 Course Description
感官是我們了解外在世界上的重要來源。感覺與知覺不僅僅反映出我們的個人經驗與文化,亦反映出大腦對於各種感官輸入的結合方式。每一種感官都是獨特的,此外,感官間的相互作用更是單一感官所無法複製的。本課程找要是探索藝術與各種感官之間的關係。課程中我們將會探討視覺和藝術、聽覺與音樂、觸覺和雕塑、舞蹈與感官間的關係,以及探索多種感官之間的相互作用。The senses are a vital source of knowledge for us to understand the world. Each sense is unique, in terms of subjective feelings and regarding the array of information that it yields, yet each sense interacts with the others to produce experiences that cannot be replicated by only a single sense. Our sensory perception reflects our personal history, our culture and the way that our brain has learned to combine sensory inputs. This class focuses on the relationship between art and the various senses. We will start with the ‘body’ senses, looking at the relationship between vision and art, audition and music, touch and sculpture, dance and senses as well as exploring the multisensory interactions between the senses.
