課程概述 Course Description

實驗室開發檢測(laboratory developed tests, LDTs)為醫療機構外的實驗室進行檢測技術之開發,讓前瞻技術層面能及早支援臨床疾病之檢測及應用而嘉惠病患。近年來基因檢測、人工智慧、大數據分析、細胞治療、質譜分析等前瞻技術也已開始應用於醫療產業,將會影響醫技人才未來的臨床與學術工作,為早日接軌此尖端領域,本課程擬邀請相關之業界專家及研發學者,分享目前及未來實驗室開發檢測相關的法規、研究與臨床應用。
A laboratory developed test (LDT) is a type of in vitro diagnostic test that is designed, manufactured and used within a laboratory of non-hospital environment, which can apply advanced biotechnology in clinical diagnosis to benefit patients. Advanced biotechnology, such as genetic tests, artificial intelligence, big data analysis, cell therapy, mass spectrometry, and so on, has been utilized in the clinical fields, which will affect the career developments of medical technologists. To bridge the forward-looking fields, the course will invite some experts in industry and academy to deliver their experiences of the ongoing LDTs fields in regulations, researches, and clinical applications.
