課程概述 Course Description本課程旨在讓學生瞭解基本醣類分子結構、特性與分析方法，同時培養學生對醣類分子及多醣體在生物體之表現及調控的認知，使學生明白醣類及其相關結構在各種生物內所具有的各項功能與機制。課程當中也會介紹醣類相關疾病與醣類藥物之發展。授課內容以基礎的醣類生物學、醣類生化學為主，並會安排同學進行最新的文獻報告。
This course aims to enable students to understand the biological function, basic structure, characteristics and analysis methods of carbohydrates, as well as to cultivate students’ understanding the performance and regulation of carbohydrate and polysaccharides in organisms. Students can understand the roles and mechanisms of carbohydrates and their related structures in various organisms. The course will also introduce the development of carbohydrate-related diseases and carbohydrate drugs. The teaching content is mainly based on basic glycobiology and glyco-biochemistry. Students may be arranged to report on the latest literatures.
