課程概述 Course Description

此課程是為運輸領域之研究所學生與其他對此議題有興趣之學生而開設,主要介紹都市運輸規劃之相關內容。課程針對今日之都市運輸規劃狀況進行探討與分析,這些議題包括目前的政策、規劃方法、未解決的問題與運輸需求、以及未來可能的政策走向,本課程亦將研究運輸規劃之實務問題與相關理論基礎,並且介紹都市運輸工程及規劃的程序與技術,例如:決策流程、需求分析架構、資料蒐集程序、旅運需求之模式建立及預測、專案評估與實行的成本效率分析等等。
This course is an introduction to urban transportation planning for master's students in Transportation, but may be of interest to students from other programs as well. The course takes a critical look at the state of urban transportation planning today, focusing on current policies and planning methodologies, unresolved problems and unmet needs in transportation, and alternative policy directions for the future. This course is devoted to a theoretical and rigorous treatment of various topics in transportation planning. Process and techniques of urban transportation engineering and planning are introduced, such as decision-making process, demand analysis framework, data collection procedures, travel demand modeling and forecasting, project evaluation and implementation and cost-effectiveness framework for evaluation of project and system alternatives.
