課程概述 Course Description

健康不平等是全球公共衛生與政府所關注的重要議題。本課程將會介紹健康不平等的定義,從行為、社會心理、物質主義、生命歷程等理論,來探討造成健康不平等的成因,並介紹測量健康不平等的概念與指標。本課程除了理論的探討外,將以台灣與國際的實例,說明健康不平等的型態及相關議題,並針對一些健康議題與社群,來探討因應健康不平等的各種政策措施,包括政策執行的優先順序及資源如何配置。
Health inequality is an important issue for global public health and governments worldwide. This course will introduce the definition of health inequality, explore the causes of health inequality from theories of behavior, social psychology, materialism, and life course, and introduce the concepts and indicators of measuring health inequality. In addition to theoretical discussions, this course will use Taiwan and international examples to explain the types of health inequality and related issues. This course will also address some health issues and certain populations by exploring various policy measures to address health inequality among these areas, including priority setting in policy implementation and resource allocation.
