課程概述 Course Description
「健康生活」? 看似很簡單的議題,網紅的專家也很多,但是不是常愈看愈不知所云?近幾年食安問題頻傳,到底要如何吃才是健康、安全?肥胖、三高、糖尿病、心血管疾病等,隨著人類的文明進展,愈來愈多的健康問題,讓大家焦慮、恐慌,都反應出要維持「不生病」的健康生活,現代人應該都要具備一些基本的常識,才能辨別真偽資訊、食得安心並生活得健康。 本課程從「醫學學理」的角度來談健康生活,以深入淺出的方式,從認識人體代謝有關的基本常識與觀念,逐步讓同學了解到生活飲食與健康維持間的關係,再進階到當健康出現問題,疾病是如何發生,特別舉肥胖、三高、癌症、糖尿病等常見的疾病,做進一步的介紹,讓同學具備正確的概念;此外,課程中也讓同學了解生活環境中,哪裡有細菌?也談談真的是「不乾不淨吃了沒病」嗎?網路上跟健康有關的迷思又該如何釐清?惱人的青春痘、外表看似不起眼的蜂窩性組織炎都跟細菌感染有關嗎?本課程也特別邀請感染專科醫師來介紹發燒就是有感染嗎、何時該用抗生素等議題,以建構同學基本的健康常識。 此外,由於知識是永遠學不完的,課堂同時也教導同學如何搜尋網路資訊,解答生活上的疑惑,並對於基改、農藥、有機等複雜議題應該具備哪些正確的認識,提供未來面臨個人健康、以及生活上飲食、藥物、預防醫學等方面問時的參考,並擴及到家人健康生活的應用,所以,只要帶著主動、好奇、長知識的心情進入課堂,相信學習可以是充實、愉快的。Healthy life may seem to be a very simple topic. Experts and influencers are talking about it in every channel. But, is it becoming more and more inexplicable? Civilization apparently brings health problems such as obesity, three “hypers” (high blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol), diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular diseases, etc. that make us anxious or even panic. Those illnesses reflect the necessity of maintaining a healthy life with commonsense in order to learn authentic information, eat at ease, then live in a healthy lifestyle. This course provides information based on medical science. Through those common knowledge and basic concepts related to human metabolism, students will gradually understand the relationship between daily life diet and health maintenance, then achieve the goal of being healthy. For example, students would know where the bacteria are in the living environments? Whether “you'll eat a peck of dirt before you die (不乾不淨吃了沒病)” is true or not? How to verify those health-related myths from content farms and how to find reliable information? Are annoying pimples and seemingly obscure cellulitis related to bacterial infections? Doctors who specializes in infectious disease will also give lectures, introducing topics like the meaning of fever: is that equal to getting an infection? When should I take antibiotics? Lecturers will help student build up the health knowledge. Most importantly, it is purported to provide students correct understanding of complex issues including GMO products, pesticides, and organic products. The learning scope would also extend to self-learning of diet, medicine, and preventive medicine. We welcome students who are active, curious, and longing for knowledge to develop a better lifestyle.
