課程概述 Course Description

本課程目標旨在增加學生認識多元文化之醫療環境及瞭解文化信念和價值觀念於健康追求行為上的影響,使學生在臨床實務上能具備跨文化健康照護之基本概念,進而提昇醫病關係之互動品質。同時進而能培養能力面對多元文化的挑戰及衝擊,學會面對因為人口結構改變所帶來的差異,照顧不同文化的個案。
The course aims to enhance students’ understanding toward multi-cultural health care environment and explore the influences of cultural beliefs and values on health seeking behaviors. With the global trend of migration, Taiwan's health care service system has been influenced and need to be changed. Different cultural perspectives will impact the health care delivery system, especially the interaction of health care workers and patients. The different cultural perspectives also influence the health behaviors, doctor-patient communication and health care patterns. Through the course, students could have basic concepts of cross-cultural health care in clinical practice, and improve the quality of doctor-patient relationship and interaction.
