課程概述 Course Description
2學分,一學期的課程。全校跨領域通識課程。本課程透過歷史知識的建構、性別與歷史、民主與專制、知識份子與世變、現代世界的形成,以及文化的衝突與調適等六個主題單元的進行,讓學生瞭解人類文明社會中普遍而永恆存在的一些問題。這門課不只是歷史事實的告知,同時要讓學生能夠思考與討論歷史事件背後的意義。最重要的是,要培養學生的歷史意識以及歷史解釋能力。Two credits , a semester course. One of the University-wide cross-disciplinary general education course . Through the six theme units about the construction of historical knowledge, gender and history, democracy and autocracy, intellectuals and the world changes , the formation and development of the modern world , and the conflicts and adjustments of culture, this course would enable the students to understand that there are some universal and eternal questions in the human civilization , so these questions are that people in any time and space must face . This course is not only the notification of historical facts, but the thinking deeply about the meaning behind historical events. More importantly, this course will cultivate students’historical consciousness and historical interpretation ability.
