課程概述 Course Description

本課程是專門為文學院、社科學院,管理學院以及規劃設計學院的學生所開授的科學探索通識課程之一。有修過普通物理實驗的學生,請勿選修。 本課程以9個有趣的專題實驗,結合實驗操作或演示以及理論說明,讓非理工科的學生可以了解經典的物理知識之外,也可以培養學生觀察紀錄與探索分析的科學思辨能力,進而了解科學研究的基本方法,以增加未來與理、工科人員進行跨領域合作機會。
This course is designed for students from Colleges of Liberal Arts, Social Science, Management, and Planning & Design. This is a general education course that offers these non-science majors a platform to have the firsthand experience on science explorations. Therefore, students that had previously taken general physics laboratory course are strongly discouraged from taking this course. This course contains nine fascinating experiments. By combining hand-on experiments and theoretical illustrations, this course provides a platform for non-science major students to repeat and to understand selected classical physics experiments. In the process, the students can foster a better understanding of the basics of the science research. Thus, in the future, they may be able to take up cross-disciplinary cooperation with scientists and engineers.
