課程概述 Course Description

本課程將介紹民主國家中不同的制度選擇,以及不同的制度對於利益匯集、民主品質、與政體穩定等面向的影響。課程分為五個主題,第一個主題將介紹不同的制度理論 (institutionalism) 與相關概念。另外四個主題將分別聚焦於中央地方關係 (聯邦或單一制, territorial arrangement of state power),行政立法關係 (executive-legislative institutions: presidential, parliamentary, or mixed systems),選舉制度,以及國會制度 (legislative organizations)。針對每一個主題將探討各國制度有何差異、制度差異所造成的影響、以及為何各國選擇採用不同制度。課程中將廣泛比較各民主國家的經驗。

  • 關注⺠主國家在各項重要制度上的差異,包含行政–立法關係、選舉制度、國會組織
  • 期待同學在課程結束後能熟悉此領域的主要研究途徑與發現
