課程概述 Course Description

This course provides a thorough introduction to the physics of nanoelectronic systems. The following topics will be discussed: Introduction to low-dimensional (mesoscale and nanoscale) systems Quantum transport in 2D: Landau levels, oscillation of Fermi energy, quantum Hall effect Quantum transport in 1D: Landauer-Buttiker formalism, ballistic transport Quantum transport in 0D: Coulomb blockade, Aharonov-Bohm effect, Kondo effect Spintronics: Gaint magnetoresistance, spin detection and manipulation
