課程概述 Course Description

本課程包含系列的演講以及事務所參觀,介紹目前業界的執業狀態以及實際公司運作的程序。學生必須完成324小時的實習時數,以增進未來執業所需之知識與能力。
“International Architectural Professional Practice” is a mandatory course in the spring term for the fourth?year students who study in Department of Architecture, National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan. The purpose of this course is to link the academic education to the real world, to learn from the working environment rather than in a classroom, and to prepare students with global perspective. We encourage our students to get training abroad and gain knowledge from different countries and cultures. In order to coordinate with the class objectives of architectural practice, we have cooperated with several international architectural professionals as mentors in this special program. Students are required to register as full?time student with National Cheng Kung University, and pay tuition. Each student is assigned an unpaid position to stay and learn with the designated mentor for at least 18 weeks, i.e. the semester period (from as early as summer break in July, to the winter break in December or January). Longer schedule is encouraged to include the semester breaks. The exact schedule will be consented by the mentor and the student.
