課程概述 Course Description

講授物理治療對神經系統病變的評估與治療。
Advanced course integrating previously learned and new skills/techniques into the comprehensive rehabilitation of selected neurological disorders. The student will distinguish and critically examine the concepts and principles of comprehensive management of neurological disorders; develop, implement, and revise a comprehensive treatment approach for neurological disorders; and utilize communication techniques.

  • understand the neurological basis for movement control.
  • describe the problems and design and conduct physical therapy assessmen.
  • understand neural control of balance, and conduct assessment and treatment.
  • understand age-related changes in relation to functional activity.
  • conduct the assessment of deep tendon reflex and mental status.
