課程概述 Course Description
著重於在分子層次探討動物細胞和致病菌之結構、功能和信號傳遞,及細胞增生、分化與死亡的機轉,並介紹傳統與新穎的細胞生物技術。最後,以免疫細胞、神經細胞、寄主與致病菌交互作用與癌症的形成,探討這些細胞如何因結構或功能失調而導致人類疾病Familiarize students with the fundamentals of cell biology and with the application of this knowledge in addressing both basic and clinical research questions. By the end of the course, students would know the basics of fundamental cell biology and how to apply what they learn in addressing cell biology-related questions arising in the research field of their interest, including cancer biology, immunology, neurobiology, microbial pathology, and developmental biology.
