課程概述 Course Description

將現今生命科學實驗所使用生物實驗模式系統,依進化層次進行介紹。本課程以生物實驗模式系統為主軸,進行有關模式生物可運用於哪些研究領域及其優缺點介紹,並補充介紹目前生物技術所採用之重要生物實驗模式系統的實驗方法與實例等,以增加學生對於生物實驗模式系統相關課題的認識。培養學生具有對於現今生物實驗模式系統發展的相關認識及利用概念。
Advanced Topics on Biological Model Systems describes the present day existing systems used in the field of Life Science. This course identifies the pros and cons of selecting a certain model system for a specific field of study. In addition, it explains some of the currently utilized model systems and their importance in real-case research. It is important that students understand the concept of a model system.
