課程概述 Course Description

程序設計 PROCESS DESIGN The Hierachy of Chemical Process Design Choice of Reactor Choice of Separator Synthesis of Reaction-Separation Systems Distillation Sequencing Heat Exchanger Network and Utilities Economic Tradeoffs Process Changes for Improved Heat Integration Heat Integration of Reactors Heat Integration of Distillation Columns Heat Exchanger Network Design Site Selection Waste Minimization Pollution and Its Abatement Safety and Health Considerations Layout Specification of Equipment Cost estimation Economics
This course is intended to familarize students with the theory and applications of chemical process design. This course covers the hierachy of chemical process design, choice of reactor, synthesis of reaction-separation systems, distillation sequencing, heat exchanger network and utilities, economic tradeoffs, process changes for improved heat integration, heat integration of reactors, heat integration of distillation columns, heat exchanger network design, site selection, waste minimization, pollution and its abatement, safety and health considerations, layout, specification of equipment, cost estimation, and economics.
