課程概述 Course Description

本課程共分成三個部分:第一部分為船舶結構實驗,透過實驗可以幫了解船舶有效寬度之定義,並學習各種有效寬度的計算方式。第二部分為浮力與穩度,將船舶靜力學裡所討論的浮力、穩度及破損穩度等各種問題,藉由在水缸裡實際操作船模的過程中加以研討與學習。實驗過程包含了船模配重與吃水深的手動調整,以及利用大角度傾斜儀測量不同角度的扶正力矩,等各種模擬船模裝載的情形,將以上實驗得到的數據帶回船舶靜力學中的公式驗算,藉此討論與學習實際船舶的運作。第三部分為阻力與推進實驗部分,進行四項實驗。(1)拖航水槽阻力實驗(2)迴流水槽阻力實驗(3)螺槳單獨實驗(4)空化實驗。目標為1.了解重要船舶實驗主題、方法與理由2.複習相關理論3.練習實驗設計,報告寫作並了解實驗精神。
The course can be divided into three parts: the first part is to understand the effective breadth and effective width theory and use ship structure experiments to verify the theory. The second part is to learn buoyancy and stability of a ship. Based on the towing tank experiment, the buoyancy , stability and damage stability of a ship can be thoroughly studied. The third part is to learn ship resistance and propulsion, four experiments are performed: (1) ship resistance experiment in the towing tank, (2) resistance experiment in the circular flow tank, (3) propeller experiment, (4) cavitation experiment. All these four experiments are for the purpose of teaching students to understand methods, reasons, theories and to design the experiment by themselves.
