課程概述 Course Description
教學目標：自19世紀中葉「文化」的概念逐漸明確化，至今已足與政治、經濟、社會並置為人類文明社會中的四個領域區分。本課程即從「文化」概念的相關討論切入，透過文化社會學的研究方法，以介紹各種「文化」的研究典範移轉過程。目的在幫助修課學生有效掌握既有的「文化」相關研究，並能加以理解社會學方法論的特色，以培養分析「文化」相關討論材料之能力，進而達到擴大知識領域及促進整合性思考之效果。 教學內容： 本課程從「文化」概念的起源與形成起始，再以介紹「文化」的社會學與文化社會學觀點為往後課程進行之基礎。其次進入影響近代社會學研究最重要的三人組（Max Weber、Emile Durkheim、Karl Marx）其「文化」相關討論，以及結構主義脈絡下「文化」概念的轉變過程。接著介紹文化工業與媒體文化的討論方法，以及比較文化和現代與後現代的文化現象相關討論。最後再回到文化社會學與文化研究的關係上，即以方法論的討論與對話結尾。後續則為驗收學生們的學習效果，將要求針對當代文化現象進行實際操作，且於課堂進行口頭報告及書面期末報告之檢討。課程學習目標 Course Objectives
