課程概述 Course Description

課程主要目的是讓學生能有效運用工具來連結模型的資料分析,因此學生將會學到如何運用數量方法(和演算法)來求解出代理人均衡分配模型、異質代理人模型、跨世代模型等模型之均衡,學生也將學習到如何應用相關的應用科學軟體及統計軟體操作,如MATLAB和STATA。若課程時間允許下將會額外介紹有關結構預估和代理人基礎模型等主題。
The goal in this course is to learn the tools which help students to relate models to data. Students will learn numerical methods (and algorithms) to solve for the equilibrium allocations of representative agent models, heterogeneous agents economies, and overlapping generations models. Students will also learn to use scienti c softwares and statistical softwares such as MATLAB and STATA in this course. Additional topics such as structural estimation and agent-based modeling might be covered if time is allowed.
