課程概述 Course Description
人類基因體計畫的執行,疾病與基因的關係因著對基因體功能的瞭解而更加清楚,因此基因體學與功能生物學是應用基因體醫學的基礎,也是現在世界的顯學After the Human Genome Project (HGP), the Functional Genomics attempts to make use of the vast wealth of data produced by genomic and transcriptomic projects (such as genome sequencing projects and RNA-seq) to describe gene (and protein) functions and interactions. The objective of this course is to give students basic knowledge of functional genomic on the dynamic aspects such as gene transcription, translation, regulation of gene expression and protein–protein interactions. By the end of the semester, students will be able to explain and give examples of how functional genomic dissect pathogenesis mechanism of human disease in the level of molecular and gene.
