課程概述 Course Description

講授物理治療常見的發展遲緩與發展障礙的評估與治療,例如:早產兒、腦性麻痺、唐氏症、脊髓發育不全,及其他一些骨骼肌肉系統異常的疾病;理論與實際操作並重。
Upon completing the course, the student will be able to 1.state the motor components of a normal movement behavior, 2.perform basic physical examination of child in the aspects of reflexes, muscle tone, muscle strength and motor function, 3.differentiate the purposes and limitations of various developmental assessment tools, 4.understand the characteristics of children with certain developmental disabilities, e.g. cerebral palsy , myeoldysplasia, muscular dystrophy, …etc. 5.understand the related issues in the aspect of pediatric physical therapy, e.g. rehabilitation technology, law and regulation regarding early intervention, school system.
