課程概述 Course Description

本課程主要目的在利用經濟學的方法分析勞動市場中受僱者與僱用者的行為。課程內容包括勞動市場供給和需求的決定、補償性工資理論、人力資本理論、勞動力遷徙、歧視與工會等主題。本課程著重理論與實務的討論,先以數據資料探討勞動市場的情勢,再試圖以理論來解釋,並且會探討政府勞動政策對勞動市場的影響。
Labor Economics focuses on the behavior of workers and firms in the labor market. This course covers some of the fundamental concepts in labor economics such as labor demand, labor supply, compensating wage differential theory, and human capital theory. This course will also provide an introduction of various labor topics such as labor mobility, labor market discrimination and unions.
