課程概述 Course Description

本課程主要目標在於使學生熟悉優選論的邏輯與架構。藉由學習與討論此理論對音韻現象之應用,學生能夠學會如何將理論應用於實際的語言資料。 內容著重於熟悉優選論如何應用在世界上各種音韻及構詞現象,以期學生能夠活用。
This course aims to equip students with the logic and theoretical framework behind Optimality Theory. By examining and discussing the wide and deep application of this theory to account for phonological phenomena, the students will come to know how to apply the theory to data. The course focuses on how Optimality Theory has been applied to deal with various phonological and morphological processes in the world, so that the students will have a better command of the theory.
