課程概述 Course Description
訓練使用一般英文學術性字彙,以增進學生英文口語表達及批判思考能力。課程學習目標 Course Objectives
This course is divided into two parts: reading/writing and listening/speaking. The purpose of the reading/writing is to encourage you to use reading strategies and critically examine the main ideas in the text. For every odd week (1st, 3rd, etc….), we will read articles dealing with current issues, discussing the main ideas. You are strongly encouraged to form study groups to prepare for the biweekly assigned readings. For every even week (2nd, 4th, etc....), we will practice listening and speaking skills, the purpose of which is to give you opportunities to be exposed to and to speak professional English.課程進度 Progress Description
