課程概述 Course Description
第一章 總論、 第二章 洪水逕流分析、 第三章 坡面的土砂移動現象 、 第四章 溪流的土砂移動現象、 第五章 土石流、 第六章水土保持調查、 第七章 溪流防砂工程、 第八章 坡面水保工程、 第九章 水土保持今後的動向課程學習目標 Course Objectives
『水』與『土』乃生物滋生及人類生存生活不可或缺之資源，用之得當則生生不息，用之不當則逐漸枯竭、洪水橫流，山崩土解嚴重影響國民生計及國家社會建設。而目前水土保持已發展成一包括森林、土木、大地工程及環境保育之綜合性科學，與生活環境資源保育、公害防治、人類文明及經濟發展息息相關。近年國民生活水準提高，國人已由個人物質與精神之滿足，轉而對整個生活大環境之關注，諸如：坡地災害防治、天然資源保育、生態環境保護等，隨著社會的發展，平原的利用趨於飽和，加上山區重要公路的開發吸引了人們往山區居住及墾殖，不當的土地利用也加速了山坡地的不穩定。而河階地、沖積扇等地形較平緩，通常為居住所在，所以一發生土石流造成災害。
近幾年夏季集中豪雨發生或颱風侵襲必引發嚴重土石災害，對人民生命財產形成威脅。天然災害不斷發生，水土保持工作亦顯重要。所以藉由此課程希望學生們學習到有關水土保持工程方面的知識。協助解決山坡地保育利用之技術問題，增進國民福祉，促進經濟發展。
