課程學習目標 Course Objectives

This course helps students understand the direction in which second-language teaching is moving in the profession, so to prepare students enter the field as teachers, course designers, or administrators.

The course will cover the following issues:
The context and conceptual basis of second language teaching and learning;
The empirical basis and contemporary development in SLT methodology and learning theory;
Language learning process and varieties of learning styles;
Learner factors and their relations to learning outcomes;
Language skills and approaches to teach these skills; and
Language assessment.
