課程範圍與目標Course Scope and Objective: 俄羅斯長篇小說算是俄國文學向世界文學最重大貢獻之一。此課程將要介紹十九世紀俄國三部偉大小說:普希金的《葉甫蓋尼‧奧涅金》、杜斯妥也夫斯基的《罪與罰》及托爾斯泰的《安娜卡列妮娜》。此課程的重點在於這些小說的組織與結構的研究。

Russian Novel is considered one of the major Russian literature contributions to the world literature.

The three great Russian novels of the 19th century are presented in this course: Alexander Pushkin’s Eugene Onegin (1832), Feodor Dostoevsky’s Crime and Punishment (1866), Leo Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina

(1877). The focus will be on structure and composition studies of the novels.

5.      《葉甫蓋尼‧奧涅金》之背景注釋。角色。主意。Eugene Onegin: Factual comments. Characters. Idea.

 

6.      杜斯妥也夫斯基的《罪與罰》。思想問題。小說技術細節。Dostoevsky’s Crime and Punishment. Ideology problems. Technicalities of the novel

 

7.      《罪與罰》研究。小說的內容。Studies of Crime and Punishment. Contents

 

8.      《罪與罰》的藝術特性。Artistic originality of Crime and Punishment

 

9.      托爾斯泰的《安娜卡列妮娜》引言。組織與結構綜述。Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina Introduction. Structure and Composition Overview

 

10.  主題分析。象徵。角色。Motif analysis. Symbols. Characters

 

11.   安娜卡列妮娜》的文體學及詩學Stylistics and poetics of Anna Karenina


課程進度Course progress:

課程進度大約與上述講義主題的次序相同,兩個學時的講義以後再會有兩個學時的座談。學期最後兩個星期的時間要用於學生作業的輔導、作業發表與討論以及口試。The course progress roughly corresponds to the sequence of lecture topics listed above. Two hours of lectures will be followed with two hours of discussions. There will be two weeks at the end of a semester reserved for students’ individual paper consultations and presentations as well as oral examination.
