課程概述 Course Description
訓練使用一般英文學術性字彙，以增進學生英文口語表達及批判思考能力。課程學習目標 Course Objectives
本課程目標在均衡發展聽說讀寫能力, 並能靈活運用英文能力去吸收新知識, 與外國人士溝通, 為接受高等教育札根, 並為進入職場而準備. 課程議題包括人文藝術, 文化覺知, 科技發展, 與批判思考. 目的在於培養同學們學習有效率的溝通能力的同時, 也學習關懷人文, 理性分析, 及獨立思考. 課程包括聽寫抄筆記技巧, 讀寫習得文章要旨, 英文簡報技巧, 以及流利說寫的技巧.This course is aimed to develop balanced and integrated language skills for both academic and professional purposes. The issues cover critical thinking, culture awareness, and environment conservation. The considerations focus on developing learning strategies, including summarizing skills when both reading and listening, oral communication skills, presentation skills and essay writing strategies.
