人體動作電腦模擬

This course introduces students to physically based modeling and dynamic simulation for human or object movement, and summarizes current research issues. The primary focus is on generating the equations of motion for particles and multibody systems. The analytical techniques include Newton-Euler equations, Lagrange's equations, and Kane’s method. Computer implementation with the dynamics software Autolev (free to download from www.autolev.com) is introduced. The secondary focus is on utilizing graphics tools (such as OpenGL or Open Dynamic Engine) for visual display. Efficient numerical methods for simulating a host of visually interesting physical phenomena will be covered, and discussed in the context of both interactive and offline simulation. The course should be appropriate for graduate students in all areas and for advanced undergraduates.
