ADVANCES IN URBAN HOUSING REGENERATION

Provide students with an understanding of the occurrence and evolution of urban housing, as well as evaluation and methods of regeneration. This course is concerned with three things.: The first one is the housing types, including configuration, construction method considerations, and formed industries, that still existed now since from 100 years ago to the present (including configuration, construction method considerations, and formed industries). The second one is the current mainstream of housing construction types. What are the conditions for supporting the mainstream? The third thing is about residential regeneration methods and evaluation criteria. The course mainly includes two parts that are urban housing development analyzed with historical research method, and regeneration plan and techniques.
